Flashback Friday and Preschool Graduation!

As I sit down to write this blog, I am in amazement that our first born is now going into Kindergarten!! Yes, Noah is a Pre-K graduate!! It seems like just yesterday that he started out at Celebration in the Mommy’s Morning Out Program with Ms. Rachel and Ms. Janna:

The next year, he had Ms. Laura and Ms. Debbie for the two year old class:

Last year, he had Ms. Sue and Ms. Michelle for the three year old class:

And this year, he had Ms. Carol and Ms. Debbie for Pre-K:

You can imagine the emotions when I saw this picture come home in Noah’s school bag:

He’s growing up right in front of our eyes!

The graduation ceremony was very sweet, and Ms. Carol and Ms. Debbie were kind enough to gift us with a pack of tissues beforehand. The songs the kids sang just tugged at my heart strings!

Noah and his friends, Ella Rae and Hailey, were recognized, among others, at graduation for having gone to Celebration all four years:

After the ceremony, we had a picnic lunch and snapped a picture with Noah:

More Fun With Nana and Papa

On Thursday, while Greg and I were still out of town, Nana and Papa got to go to Noah’s school for his Easter Party and Egg Hunt!

Nana took a video of Noah hunting eggs. I thought this was cute that he got more than the allowed 12 eggs and so put one back:

It looks like it was a fun day! Later that evening, Nana and Papa took Noah to his first t-ball game of the season, and they won! But more about t-ball later…

Special Nana/Papa Time

While Greg and I are up in North Carolina, celebrating our 10th anniversary at the Biltmore Estate, Nana and Papa are home with the boys. They were kind enough to coordinate their drive back from Florida to Ohio with this mini-getaway. I have to admit, I was nervous leaving home, but before we were too far out of Atlanta, I was greeted by this good-morning smile:

Nana and Papa took Noah to school and then followed by taking Garrett to Kindermusik class. Garrett and Ms. Dana were happy to see each other:

Noah had his 100th day of school:

He also got a music lesson from Papa:

Garrett spent some quality time with Papa, reading the Vitamix manual:

So, while they’re having a good time on the home front, Greg and I are having a great time in Asheville. The weather is a little crisper than we had anticipated, but it is so beautiful up here in the Blue Ridge Mountains: I can’t wait to see what they have in store for tomorrow! (Hopefully Nana will share some pictures that she’s in, too!)

Noah, the T-Rex

Noah is fascinated by dinosaurs lately. His favorite show to watch is Dino Dan. It is about a 10 year old boy who sees dinosaurs in his daily life and learns about their behaviors and characteristics (sadly, no one else sees them!). Noah has been working on perfecting his Tyrannosaurus Rex impression. Beware – it’s scary!

When we got back from Disney, I brought cupcakes into Noah’s school, and we celebrated his birthday with his school friends.
