In order to get ready for the 4th of July, we decorated Noah’s wagon for the neighborhood parade. It was reminiscent of the wagon assembly because Noah was SUCH a big helper. Let’s just hope it stays intact until Saturday!
Who is this “Uncle Sam” character, and why am I wearing his glittery hat?
Giving Noah an activity (star window gel stickers) to prevent him from “helping” so much
Ready for the parade!
See you Saturday!
Thanks, Aunt Connie and Grandma Nancy, for your help with the decorations!
On Sunday I wasn’t feeling well, and so Greg took care of making dinner. He made Noah’s favorite – lasagna! I chaperoned from a comfy armchair Greg moved into the kitchen for me. It was delicious!
The man behind the meal
Poor Kitty is again being tortured by Noah. Kitty asks to come into the playroom, Noah “plays” with him, and then Kitty desperately looks for a way to escape.
Hmmm…what kind of trouble can I get into??
Kitty has a built-in handle!
Maybe I can pick him up!
Seriously?! There HAS to be a way out!
In the past, Kitty has jumped up on the ledge, walked along the wall and jumped down. On this day, I let him out before it got to that!
Noah hosted playgroup on Thursday, and we’ve had some new, younger additions. Noah was fascinated with the babies!
Miss Jen walked over with Summer in her sling. Noah couldn’t believe there was a baby inside!
What are you hiding in there??
It's Baby Summer!
Hi, Baby Summer!
Helping Coleson play with his toys
Summer (almost 2 months) and Coleson (4 1/2 months)
Your mom makes you do tummy time, too?
Kelly had fun playing with colorforms – how fun!
Ella Rae was tuckered out from her swim lessons, but we hear she’s doing a great job!
Noah wanted to lay on the blanket like the babies…
Noah got a hold of Miss Jen’s sling and put it on. He wanted to carry a baby!
Ready to be a big brother…
We missed you, Hailey. Happy First Birthday!!
So, if you saw yesterday’s post, Noah was really missing the pool. Tuesday’s weather was perfect, and Daddy worked from home, so after quittin’ time, he promised Noah a trip to the pool! Noah has no concept of time or “just as soon as Daddy gets ready”; Noah was R-E-A-D-Y!
Daddy, are we really gonna go to the pool?
I got a hat for you - that sun's bright!
What do you mean I have to wait a minute?
The patient little boy finally got his wish, and I hear they had a great time at the pool.
Like any little kid, Noah is hooked on going to the pool. Well, the weather didn’t cooperate on Monday, so it turned out to be an inside day. I cracked up when I saw Noah got a swim diaper out of his backpack and was trying to put it on himself – over his shorts! Poor kid!
Okay, I have the swim diaper. Let's put it on!
Trying to put it over his foot...
Noah tried really hard to make Daddy’s Day special this year (it should have been called “Noah Day”). He took Daddy to Waffle House for breakfast because he heard Daddy loves waffles so much…or was that Noah??, he took Daddy to the playground so Daddy could push the swings, and then he took Daddy to the splash pool so Daddy could run under the waterfalls. What Dad wouldn’t love a day like that??

My Daddy loves to push me!
On Friday, Noah was watching Barney (groan!) and they were doing the “Baby Bop Hop”. Noah started trying to hop along with them on the TV. Since then, he’s been working on perfecting the hop. He tries so hard, but his feet just don’t make it off the ground! This video is cute because he’s so focused on the hopping until he gets distracted by Pacey and runs out of the room
Grandma Nancy was in town this Monday, and it just happened to be her birthday! Noah had a lot of fun helping her celebrate!
Wow, we have noisemakers!
Happy Birthday, Grandma!
Noah's reading a new book about Puppies and Kittens
Grandma Nancy and Grandpops
For dinner that night, we actually had all four of Nancy’s “children” over for dinner. It was a nice celebration!
The Fons Family
Noah got a new potty, which we’re far from being able to use, but it’s never to early to introduce it, right? The problem is that he thinks it’s his own personal “Lazyboy” chair…he sits in it, with snack in hand, and watches TV. Potty training could take a while! He really likes the toilet paper feature
Hey Mom, did you know my new chair has a hole in it?
