Noah wishes you a very Happy Halloween!
Noah wishes you a very Happy Halloween!
When Noah stands, he hasn’t yet had the instinct to move his feet forward. Until today. Every day, I have been walking, holding his hands, with his feet on mine to show him what to do. This afternoon, I tried to show Greg how I walk with him, and Noah did it himself! Yes, he is still wobbly, and he has a long way to go before walking on his own, but these were literally his first steps!
Poor Noah. For an early birthday/Christmas present from my mom, I got a new camera – the Canon Digital Rebel. Now, instead of seeing mommy’s smiling face, 99% of the time Noah’s looking into the camera lens! I want to get a lot of practice so when Noah’s first Christmas comes around, we’re armed and ready for the fun.
Sunday afternoon we went to our church’s Fall Festival. While Noah was a little too young to participate in most of the activities, he had a lot of fun watching the other kids. And what beautiful weather we had!
We also saw a turkey (really gross in real life!) a donkey and some small pettable animals in the Petting Zoo. We had some really yummy BBQ, which I shared with Noah. He didn’t like the pulled pork (maybe b/c he just made friends with the pig…he was making a statement!), but he did like the baked beans – what a squishy mess!
Happy Halloween Week! Love, Noah
Saturday we went to Noah’s first Halloween costume party at Jill and Kevin Holley’s house. They live about an hour away, so I sat in the back seat with Noah, and we played one of his new favorite games. Surprisingly, this did not get old:
Here are some pictures from the party:
Of course, our little chunkin started to expire around his bedtime, so we had to call it an early night, but we had a lot of fun. Thanks Jill and Kevin…er, I mean Peggy and Al!
“So big!”, excuse me while I get a tissue….
Okay, I’m back. I can’t believe Noah is almost 9 months old, and now that we’re into fall clothes, he doesn’t look like a baby, he looks like a (GASP) LITTLE BOY!
